The end of an important era. Jamie sold his first car…

Shortly after I returned from my mission from Norway in September 1996 I purchased a 1995 Honda Civic Coupe. Two door, manual 4 cyclinder, cherry red with a spoiler on the back beautiful car. Of course I did small upgrades here and there (Added a nice stereo with rear speakers, automatic locks, tinted windows, black bra). I kept this car clean all the time. It was a great car.
Well, that era has now come to an end. For I sold the car to someone here in Michigan just yesterday. Although it is nice to have something a little larger for our family now, It was a hard thing to do. It was my first car that I worked hard for. So this post is for my car and I wish it happiness with it’s new owners.

Oh Jamie, I know how it is with your first car!
Can you beleive that mine is still living at my mom’s house because I can’t bear to give it up even though I’m only in town once or twice a year?I’ve tried to psych up to sell it 3 times now and every time I have a breakdown and my mom rescues me by saying we should just keep it. It’s a 1990 Jeep Commanche that my parents helped me buy in 1998 when I graduated from High School. It really was my dream car actually and if I had $40,000 I’d pimp it so that I could keep it forever. What I haven’t had fixed on that truck…
Still, it’s cheaper than a rental for 4 weeks.
One more chance to drive it at least, we’ve decided to say farewell once we have kids as we’ll need more room than a pickup allows.
